Ignite Portland

by pearlgirl
If you had five minutes on stage what would you say? What if you only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds? Around the world geeks have been putting together Ignite nights to show their answers.

For more information on Ignite, please take a look at the O’Reilly Ignite site.

For now, just think of Ignite Portland as the brainchild of Josh Bancroft, Dawn Foster, Raven Zachary, Todd Kenefsky and a whole bunch more cool smart Portland geeks. We’re looking to bring a twist to the same old conference format that you’re used to. It’s cool. It’s fun.

See the Ignite Portland Constitution for some of the values and criteria that we follow, and this post for some of the background and ideas that inspired Ignite Portland to begin with.

Thursday, October 25th, 6-9pm

FREE
First-come, first-served admission. Due to fire code limits (~300 people), we will likely have to turn some people away. Come early to guarantee entry. Doors open at 5:30pm.
